Issue #2 (Chapter 2 in the Red Book)
- Any guesses as to what's in that bottle/beaker Soracia's holding on
the cover? Whatever it is there are a few
similarly shaped bottles on the first page, hinting that Soracia is behind
Rubel's nightmare...
- Page 1 -- Is Soracia just in the dream, or is she sending it?
- Page 3 -- What makes Katara's lock of hair magical? Is it because a)
she's a princess b) she's Soracia's sister c) the link between her and
Rubel?
- Page 3 -- What sort of "good adventures" has Rubel had?
- Page 3 -- Who is Leefan?
- Page 4 -- How is Rubel sneaking back into the city? The hole in the
wall looks like it's not exactly a new discovery by Rubel (the rowboat
being the big tip-off), but you'd think the city guard and such would try
to stop up such gaps.
- Page 5 -- "The forest only allowed the ones it liked, or knew
it must respect, like thieves and shadow queens". Are kings,
princes, princesses and witches respected, or were they all taking a big
chance back in the first issue?
- Page 10 -- Did Katara really bite off a bird's head?
- Page 14 -- Prices for goods seem to be in Fl.'s. Florins, maybe?
- Page 14 -- This is presumably Varkias's first time into the city
during daytime.
- Page 15 -- Who watched Rubel sleep? The cover suggests a likely suspect.
- Page 15 -- What did Quinton say when Rubel was 3?
- The comic strips in the back all take place in Millbrook, with the
Jays and Finnly... quite the treasure trove of information
