Issue #22 (Chapter 6 in the Blue Book)

• Inside Cover - M'Oak reiterates his plan for a 100 issue series.
• Page 1 -- I can't ignore the Shadow Lady's presence here. What was her involvement? Just an observer?
• Page 2 -- So far, most of Quinton's magic has manifested in semi coincidental happenings. The staff splits just right and blinds Chead, Rubel and Varkias are resting next to a rock with directions to Quinton's tower, etc. In contrast, Soracia has been much less subtle. Is there a connection, or just different styles?
• Page 3 -- "...the magic searched within Chead's hurting body, and because it was powerful, and because it was ancient, it eventually found a way...". A way to what?!
• Page 4, Panel 2 - The pile of dust that will be mentioned in a few pages.
• Page 4 - It sounds like the Porter family might have some other scandals in its past, or at least an unusual reputation "That family!"
• Page 4 - Interesting design on the back of that door...
• Page 8 - Exactly what plans does Rubel have to fight Jurid, if any?
• Page 10 - Rubel appearing to a crowd of soldiers and them doing nothing is reminiscient of other occassions of magic/crowd control. (Soracia shooting Rubel with the crossbow, Rubel being fed breakfast, the fight in Millbrook over Quinton going to jail)
• Page 10 - Both Rubel's appearing to the soldiers, and his attacking the pirates indicate at a growing corruption. Was he this dark before getting involved with the Shadow Lady?
• Page 11 - The convoluted story of the fate of the key seems to imply magic was involved in its path. (Soldier to supervisor to jeweler who couldn't melt it down to jeweler's brother to thief to pirate to cabin boy). Was it the key's magic, or is it from another source?
• Page 12 - The sign on the wall, 'General Waht' and guesses to what it means?
• Page 14 - The door on the top panel sure has an interesting design on it...
• Page 16 - Rubel likes getting shot at?
