poison blood from a battle long before with Ramanious has corrupted his mind (17). He
is the smallest of dragons. (19)

- A monster Rubel has defeated (3) It
lives inside the Eye Box (TPB2), in the Sleeping Wood. (21) According to Rubel he knows everything. (21) An old monster
who had lived and terrorized the land before a mighty army of brave
knights and wizards locked him away in a magical stone prison. (21)
Duplicitous and crafty. Blinded and re-sealed in the stone prison by the
Monster Slayers.
- Clockwork Warriors
- A mechanical warriors unlike the Iron
Guard, these are solely made of machinery and magic. They were
initially made by Quinton. (28)
- Collin Bagwood
- A constable in the town of Millbrook. He leads the group that comes
to Emma and Peter Jay's house to take Quinton into custody. (14)
- Contest, The
- A challenge King Rillon setup between his two children at Sorcia's prompting to determine who was going to inherit his magic crown and rule the kingdom of Oceansend after him. Rubel won, but gave the crown to Kitara. (c1/v1-ch1 p1)
- Corndown, Battle of
- A battle King Rillon II fought
against the Duke of Corndown (6)
- Corndown, Duke of
- A historical figure, he kidnapped king
Rillon II's son and armed his soldiers with iron he had been
entrusted with, and then tried to invade the Vale of Sherbeth (6)
- Crown
- Magical, belonging to the king, used in
the contest between Kangar and Katara. (c1/v1-ch1 p1)
- Curry
- Jibsman of the Fint, when he broke his
collarbone, Rubel temporarily took his
place.(1) Rubel has a nightmare involving
him (2)
